Dr. Travis Thurston is a Naturopathic Physician licensed in Hawaii, Oregon and Washington.

He received his undergraduate education at Portland State University where he spend most of his studying microbiology and biological sciences until he found a passion in human psychology and finished PSU with a major in Psychology and minor in Biology
After obtaining his BS, he went on to attend NUNM (at the time NCNM) where he graduated with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. His clinical training was primary focused in Metabolic Disorders, Diabetes, IV Therapeutics and Hormone Management.
Upon graduation Dr. Travis spent his first decade practicing on the Hawaiian Islands, managing a clinic in Manoa Valley before building his brand Island Natural Medicine. Island Natural Medicine is located in the heart of Honolulu just two blocks from the Kamehameha Statue and Iolani Palace. He currently sees his Hawaii based patients via telemedicine operating as a sole practitioner with Island Natural Medicine, and also with Dr. Nora Phillips at Central Health Hawaii where they’re more focused on conventional primary care medicine blended with the preventive naturopathic model.
In 2021 Dr. Travis relocated his base operations to Olympia Washington where he runs Olympia Naturopathic Medicine and serves the entire PNW with telemedicine options in all portions of Washington and Oregon. In 2024 Dr. Thurston Joined forces with Dr. Andrew Edwards and created Deschutes River Wellness where they offer a host of Injectable Treatments, Aesthetic Services and Hormone Management at a beautiful clinic space in Tumwater.
